fuel stop solinoid

hi

i had to replace my fuel stop solinoid the other day becasue it over heated and let go. do they have an interal timer or do i need timed relay?

You'll need to be way more specific as to the exact solenoid and use, as there are two styles of stop solenoids and with those two styles there are 2 ways to run each of them.

Ah I see it’s a on a v1505 engine it has a 2 terminal plug. I can’t see any numbers on it. On the bench the pin is out and retracts if pressed
