Fuel leak question HELP !!!!!!!
Yesterday I was using my Grand L3830 and all of a sudden the RPMs started falling off so I stopped and it acted like a loss of fuel. I then saw fuel pouring out the bottom side of engine compartment , after raising hood and removing the passenger right side engine cover I found where the fuel was coming from. The fuel was coming from the backside of the fuel filter housing. There's a L shaped fitting that's connected to a hose that goes to injector pump housing. That L shaped fitting had worked its way out of filter housing wasn't broken , but just had slipped out of the filter housing. I slipped it back in place tractor started right up drove it to my shop just used a wire zip tie to hold in place and there no leak at all.I ripped my deer plot 6 acres with no problem now just waiting for rain . My question is has anyone experienced this problem ? And is this just a friction fit or do I need to use come type of epoxy to hold in place thanks for any info you may have . Sorry about the photo I'll pressure wash engine later today you know how fuel attracts dust.
