Hey guys anyone else have fuel gauge problems I have Grand L3830 I was using it today and looked down at the gauge it said just a little over 1/4 tank 2 minutes later It showed empty no bars at all . I was 2 miles from the barn called my brother he came by with some fuel I put a gallon in just to get back to the barn then the gauge said 1/2 tank. Has anyone had a problem like thi and if so how did you remedy this problem......Thanks Dan

If it's a single wire fuel selenoid, then it grounds through the frame. Found that they can get finicky after a while since the fuel tanks and sending unit are usually rubber mounted. I've found that running a jumper wire from a frame bolt to one of the mounting screws helps with intermittent issues. Float inside the tank could be bouncing and sticking also.

Yes my grand L3560's fuel gauge reads very erratically. I complained to the tech about it when he came out to do something else, and he said the sensor floats within a tube and it gets stuck if the tractor tilts. I am going to watch it and see if it can't be fixed while under warranty. It is plus or minus a quarter of a tank, so very annoying.
