If they think their used parts are so special they have to charge more than new, I have a special place in mind where they can put them .... :D
If there is a part for a tractor you need, and you can't find it anywhere else, and that's your attitude....I guess you'll win the battle and lose the war!

I haven't had much luck with wkyp. Called about some used turf tires and rims for my tractor. They wanted 250$ per rim  No rubber with them  They wanted another 250 per tire, would still have to have them mounted. Plus $200 for shipping for just the rims  I said thanks for your time, and made a set of turf rims for my tractor for $150 :D

Just ordered parts from Colemans saturday evening. Got an email from them around 4 pm on Tuesday with shipping and tracking info. Got a second email at 1:30 today saying my parts were on my door step :D

Well, I've had good experience and luck with WKTP, remember it's a scrap / parts / junk yard so if the part you need is in high demand and there is not a lot of them you're going to pay more. ;)

I first tried to buy a case for my transmission and they gave me an OK price, was still 1k, but after 3 days they called back to tell me that all the cases they had were cracked or broken and they didn't want to sell me one, I was a little bummed as a cracked case would have been better than my shattered case. :(
I ended up finding a great welder that had far more skill than me at welding cast so it turned out well.

I priced 2 badly worn / chipped gears and syncro sleeves new and they sold them to me for 1/3 less than new, and the parts were all in perfect condition. :D

It does pay to be NICE... I've delt with Junk / Scarp / parts yards all my life and it doesn't pay to treat them harshly as it usually comes back to bite you.

I, too, have dealt with junk/wrecking/salvage yards all my life, in fact I was part owner in a yard on 19th ave just south of lower Buckeye in Phoenix. When I called WKTP, I was nothing but nice, until I was nothing but stunned- then I was so stunned at the prices, I didn't think to be upset until I was off the phone.
I really doubt the parts I was looking for are in short supply or high demand, as the B7100 and it's variants are the most prolific design Kubota has produced. Maybe I caught the woman I spoke with on a bad day, or maybe she was upset after dealing with someone who was not nice, but I gave them no reason to be P.O.'ed at me. I think she felt she had an un-informed, captive audience, & decided to try & take advantage of the situation. I doubt I will call them again, but if I'm ever in their area, I may stop in & see if they treat face-to-face customers better. Rant off.

They banned me for all eternity. 25 years of people doing their best to maintain a business relationship with me and then this. Hmmmm.

I agree, it's always better to keep your cool when dealing with most of the suppliers. 99 times out of 100 any part can be located if a person spends enough time looking. When a tractor junk yard charges more money for a used part than what it can be bought for new, it's obvious the "greed factor" has kicked in and I certainly don't mind voicing my opinion to them about their overpriced, used stuff. I guess any part can become "rare" and become valuable similar to how antiques gain their value, but I'd venture to say the vast majority of tractor parts are not even close to being classified as rare....unless you're driving an old Kioti..... ;)

Well I would say driving / operating any Kioti makes that person... Impaired  :p :D

Yes there is always going to be the case of "they just sold you junk parts".
And for that there is no excuse for them to not make it right!
