Found a 12 piece compression test kit at Harbor Freight Tool for $26.00. It test from 0 psi to 1000 psi. It also says that it has the fittings to fit Kubota diesels. Plan on getting one and testing my old girl next weekend.

Congrats on the new tool purchase.

I have a really small request and it's easier said than done. When you do the procedure could you take pictures of it. Just basic perhaps like with the gauge installed.

Trust me, I know that when you get to doing the mechanical stuff, taking pictures can be the last thing you want to do. But at the same time think of what a HUGE help that will be to a lot of people that have never done a compresion check before.

The compression gauge set you guys are talking about. Will it work on the D650 engine without removing the injectors? I'd like to find one that utilizes the glow plug hole. Please let me know. Also, the SKU number of the gauge set. I have a B6100E that is showing blow by...alot out the breather tube. Basically, I need to find out the state of the motor prior to dropping cash on other parts...like a known bad radiator, fuel leaking at outlet fittings on injection pump, and a blown rear main seal. Thanks!
