Hi,
My neutral switch is giving me problems. We have to wiggle the hydro static speed foot petal to get the tractor to start and it is getting worse. Do I have to just replace the switch or is their some kind of adjustment to correct this?

It's Operator Presence Control switch located near the hydraulic filter right side up high. When the HST pedal is in the neutral position, the switch should be depressed. Try spraying some lubricant on the switch pin which has a rubber boot around it and rock the HST pedal from under the tractor viewing the operation of the switch pin. If the pin does not cycle in and out, look at the linkage that operates the switch.

ibunker, thank you for assisting rmarty54 with the question. This wouldn't be the first time a one-time poster showed up and had the help they were looking for - and then vanished. It's helpful for more than the OP when someone responds to a question like you did.

I have the same unit, (2 years and 11 months old / puchased March 2014) and the same issue seems to have just recently started. I watched a video from a 2016 post.

Excellent video on where the switch is located and how to clean it.

I have a lot of mud on my farm, and it's probably just dirty and in need of a cleaning and lubrication.

I'll give the cleaning and lube a try and let you know how things work out.

My service manager at Kubota kept trying to tell me on the phone where my L3800 neutral switch was under the tractor. After much crawling around, he told me on the phone "no wait, yours is on the steering column". Mine was adjustable as to contact position. You may wish to see if yours is too.

Re: Foot pedal neutral switch on Kubota B3300OOSUHSD PROBLEM SOLVED

I crawled under my tractor, and lubricated the linkages leading to the neutral switch, and the switch itself with WD40. No luck. I took the switch out of its holder, and with it hanging by the wires, pushed it in and out while my helper tried to start the tractor, no luck. I then cut the two wires leading to the switch. I stripped them to get some good copper, and wire nuted the two wires together. It started. So, I must have had a bad switch.

I suppose at some point I should install a new switch, but it's run fine all week with the wires simply wire nuted and taped together.

I did find a very helpful and well done video on You Tube by Scott Philbrook at

Hey thanks guys. This has had me scratching my head for weeks now. Kept fixing it and it'd get worse. Now it just blows fuses. Guess I'll be changing it out. How easily a little part will cripple your machine. 2015 B3350SU
