This will be my first real tractor. I decided to keep my old green GT275 for mowing my acre, but with a large drainage culvert going through my property, a patio to build, stone to grade, etc. I'm sure the BX will get its share of use.

Getting a 54" deck and the basic ROPS lights to start with and taking the 72 month finance deal.

Been watching Paul Short on YouTube, and reading this forum. Feel I can't go wrong with this purchase!

You will be amazed what that little BX can do. I highly recommend getting a skid plate asap. Protect your underbelly while out in the thick stuff

Finally got the tractor delivered this week. FYI, with the fees tacked on for the finance deal, 0% turns into 0.16% here in Pennsylvania for the 72 month deal. Still all but free.

I ended up buying a policy from State Farm that covers "All Perils" and satisfies all criteria for Kubota Credit. It was a significant savings.

At this point I've just played with the controls, never having operated a loader or a backhoe before. I'm getting a feel for the reach of the hoe and the overall feel of the controls, which is pretty user friendly. The mower deck is off and in the garage. They filled the rear tires so I should have decent traction with the R4 tires when the snow flies.

Not crazy about the ROPS light wires just zip tied but there are no factory holes. I did see some cleaner wiring jobs on here I may put to use.

See picture below...

Nice! With some time, the controls will become natural and you won't even think about it. Enjoy your new toy / tool.
