I have a 2020 RTV 1100C. It ran fine until last night, when I pulled out of the driveway, it overheated in 2 minutes. I let it cool down and parked it for the night. This morning I tried starting it again and when I tried to crank it over, the engine made a loud "thump" noise so I checked the oil and it is very dark and an inch or two above the "full" line on the dipstick. I waited and tried again an hour later and the motor does not want to turn at all.

What has happened? I am hoping someone here will be able to advise. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. You may get some suggestions, but what you really need is someone mechanically inclined to look at it in person. Coolant level, contaminant in the oil, pull injectors and see if the cylinders are hydro locked, etc. Without lots of detailed information, you'll get stabs in the dark. It sounds like you have some serious issues, and an in person survey is what you need.

I am with Hodge ......... a hydro lock is possible, and with that, more bad news will follow!
