Finishing Mower Broken

HI,

i have a Kubota with a 3 Blade finishing mower on it. Unfortunately my dad sunk it in a wet patch and lifted the mower while the pto was still on.

now the blades will not spin but the pto still does.

Anyone got any ideas on whether i can fix this myself or whether i need someone to do it or will i need a new mower?

Sounds like the belt is not really tide to the PTO.
Pictures would help a little bit...

Remember, some brands have a shear pin/bolt on the prop shaft where it connects to a gearbox or what ever design it has to transmit power to the deck itself. If it is a shear bolt, most were just a grade 2 bolt as they are fairly soft. so, check your drive shaft at the mower deck. Very common thing.
