My neighbor has a FEL on his L4400. Is it practical and/or possible to install frame and hydraulics to my MX5100 and share his loader. Thanks for any advice

Sure...but why would you want to?

Unless you find the parts cheap off a wrecked tractor it will probably cost you as much to buy just the sub-frame parts as it would to buy the whole assembly.

FYI It's probably cheaper to sell/trade your tractor and get one with a loader already installed than it is to retrofit.

I would be cautious about sharing it because of mixing hydraulic oil. If either of you have a problem you could easily wind up with two tractors messed up. It is a great idea and I do have mine and my dad’s set up to share a BH 77 I do all the maintenance on both so it is a little eaisier to know they are both serviced and have the same Kubota oil
