I've got oil leaking from the driveshaft seals and o rings at the rear axle on my F3690. The leaks are at the locations shown by red arrows in the picture. One you can't really see because its at the rear holder behind the axle, but its in the same location as the one I've marked on the front holder.

The parts i am looking at replacing are O rings 160 and 130 and the oil seal 060 all marked below. I haven't had it apart yet so I don't know the condition of the two bushes 145 or 090. I'm wondering how likely it is that these and the thrust collars 080, and 150 need to be replaced as well given that every seal appears to have failed. ? Would it be sensible to order and change all those parts, or would I get away with just the seal and orings? Appreciate the tips.

I’ve been into that repair before. Had all of those o rings weeping with #60 dripping. Housings were absolutely worn out. Was told to keep it running… Replaced #60 with a healthy dose of gasket maker. Drained what fluid was left and filled with gear dope. Also added some 00 corn head grease. They seemed to be leak free until both units went to auction.

You would be correct, I’d at least order everything and can return what’s not needed once you get into it.
