A rookie question for the pros. I am reassembling the rear axle of my F3680 and having problems getting the tie bar back on. I have a couple of issues I am having problems with. It appears that the tie bar needs to be pressed in. Is there a way for me to do that or do I have to take it to someone with the right tool? The nuts and the bolts have seen better days. Is there an "best practice" way to re-thread the bolts (they spin in the tie bar) or am I just destined to buy a new tie bar with new bolts/nuts? Thanks!

The threaded "bolt" is actually a ball inside a socket. The tapered shaft needs to pressed into the steering arm. A gentle tap with a rubber mallet is usually all that is required to spin the nut on and tighten on the nut without the shaft turning.
