The regulator controls the charging of the tractor.

Power and ground to the panel is what controls the easy checker lights. ;)

Don't think that is so Thanks for the reply
Not sure whether or not you intended to come off as disrespectful. Having been a part of this community for a few years now, I'd take anything NIW says to the bank. Nothing wrong with challenging opinions, but I'd triple check to make sure I was right first. You kinda walked into the prison mess hall and slugged the biggest dude in the room! :)

JK, that paints a good word picture! "You kinda walked into the prison mess hall and slugged the biggest dude in the room!"

It always seems to amaze me how some people act, but they expect someone to help them!

Sorry I did not intended to be disrespectful. I was just disagreeing with too few words.

You can disagree with me in as many words as you like to use! :p  ;)

I think I've gotten to the bottom of the confusion, what you are calling a regulator is not the regulator, it's the Controller, several parts sites are naming that parts wrong.

What part # did you get?
76611-55120
76611-55126
76611-55710

And why did you just randomly change a part that you do not know what it does?

If the symptoms were unchanged after you switched out the controller it's unlikely to be related to the issue. The controller does, among other things, control the panel functions. Easiest, and most obvious, would be a fuse. Next would be a loose or corroded ground wire, although I'm not sure if the gauges on the 2400 work off a single ground wire or multiple ones.

If the controller is good, and it isn't malfunctioning gauges, there just isn't much else it could be. Not much going on in the way of electronics on those machines.

Hi guys i know this is an old post but it is relevant to my current situation if you could please provide me some advice. I thank you in advance.

I have just picked up a f2400 with a d1105 in it and i have no power going to my fuel solenoid or my gauges. The oil and Battery lights light up but not the fuel or temp gauges i have checked all the wires and all seems good i think the problem is the control module the part number that is listed for this machine is 76611-55710 but i can not find any photos to ensure the plug is right. My plug is round i have attached photos of what my unit looks like.

The solenoid works when i put power to it however when it is all wired in i do not get power to it at all. Does the control module power the fuel solenoid? Is there a way to test the control module at all? or am i missing something?

I have been told parts for these machines will be hard to find in Australia as they were all imported and i am finding that this is the case. Is there a way i can by pass the harness and power the solenoid directly on like a toggle switch or similar. Thanks for your time and happy new year.
