Good day all. I am a newbie to this forum. First I would like to thank all who made this forum possible to all of us who own or work on Kubota equipment and not only allow us to share our knowledge and experience but also seek help from other members, thanks again.
That being said, I have a L5740D HST and am getting an error code,
(Error-83 Cruis NG). Obvious to me that it has to do with my cruise control, however I don't know if this means the sensor is bad or if the controller is bad, I just don't know.
Can anyone give me any direction as to what the issue can be?
Thank you in advance.

Error 83 indicates Cruise control sensor problem. Could be electrical connections at the sensor but more likely mechanical interference at the sensor caused by dirt or a stick caught in the linkage. the sensor is on the top left side of the transmission right near the cruise lever itself. Very unlikely to be the controller.

Thanks Ed,
Yes, you were correct. Shortly after posting my thread I returned and gave another look at the tractor, this time finding the connector to the cruise sensor had popped off. Reconnected the connector making sure I heard and felt it click in place, started up the tractor & no codes or warning light.
You know how it is, sometimes you just have to walk away and clear your mind, and when you come back, the problem just pops right out in front of you.
Thanks again for your help. :)

I get the same message with my L3240. Moving the arm gets rid of the message and I can start the tractor. However, the same problems returns a few days later. The connection is tight. Is the sensor the thing to which the arm is connected on my fender?
