engine warning light

my new L3901 has only 12hrs on it, the regeneration light came on, i regenerated it and the engine warning light came on and its beeping.

any suggestions

Hi, I can't offer too much more than sympathy because I have a different model, but mine, which is new, flashes an error code on the Intellipanel when unhappy. If you catch it there is a section in the back of the owner's manual to help decode it. Otherwise check to see if you followed the directions for the regen EXACTLY, which is easier said than done. It sounds as though it thinks you didn't do the regen. I found the directions to be as clear as mud. Beyond that a call to your dealer first thing Monday..

Very interested in this because I have a new L3301 and the regeneration process is the same. Mine has not had to regenerate yet but, according to the book, if the buzzer is sounding, the regeneration process was interrupted. Sounds like you ought to do a "parked regeneration" before a higher warning level occurs. Please let us know how you come out.

Thank you for the advice & sympathy. I did the park regen and after that the warning light stayed on. I'll let you know how things turn out.
