I'm guessing that you mean that you don't want to run the engine that hard, Is this correct?
If this is what you meen I understand your concern. I grew up with IH tractors that had a much lower RPM to get the 540 PTO speed and had to get used to Kubota engines. This may sound strainge but it is harder on the tractor and the cutter if you don't run it at the rated RPM. The engine was designed to run at the rated speed and if you run it slower you are going to put heavier loads and strain on all the components and in turn will make every thing run hotter which in the end will shorten the life on the tractor and cutter as well. My advise is just try not to think to much about it and crank it up to the rated speed and let it eat. It was made for it and will do fine.
