I ordered a replacement regulator for my 1990 L2850 and I was sent a sealed electronic one. Has anyone ever used one of these? The description of this one makes it look like a universal regulator, working on Fords and Kubota's.

If the terminal identification letters are the same you will enjoy much longer service life with the electronic regulator compared to a mechanical one.
Neither Kubota nor Ford make alternators etc and buy them from other companies which is why a part might fit other makes and models

Well the pigtail wire colors are the same. I have not deciphered the badly written explanation of the wire configuration as of yet. I am also looking for a Kubota break out of what each wire is to do.
Still looking for a decent shop manual, the first one I bought was more cover than pages, it was miss just about every other page so I sent is back.
