I have a 2011 B3200. I've been busy with other things for about 3 weeks and it sat unused for that time. Went out the other day to move it and the speed control pedal,( Hydrostatic tranny) would not lock and or automatically return to the neutral position. Depress forward pedal and there it stays. Prior to this if I released pressure it would return to the neutral position. The same situation occurs when the revers pedal is depressed there is no return to the neutral position. Have I damaged the speed set device ? What else could the problem be?

two things.....
first, when you start a new TOPIC, or title, place in there a short sentence about the problem or machine.......
like "problems with B3200"
then people that have that machine will want to chime in and you will get help quick!
Now - I do not have the B3200. but my guess is that you ran over a stick or something and it either bent something, bet not - or the spring that pulls it back is messed up! Climb under and look at the linkage......see what is not working, i BET you can fix it quickly.....

Like 85Hokie said get under there and look for sticks or bent parts, but I'm betting on a sticking pedal in need of lube, might have to pull it apart to lube it up good.
The speed set lever and linkage should only effect the pedal in forward.
The only other part that I could see causing a problem is the dampener, the pedal won't return to neutral when that part is bad.
