Hi All,

This may sound a stupid question but can I connect the green wire earthing eyelets from the front lights to the studs on the inside of the tractor hood (studs that allow the front grille to be fixed to the hood) to earth them? I have powder coated the tractor panels etc and forgotbwhere the earth leads from the front lights were connected to after disassembly. Also there is a black earthing lead for the power supply to the lights from the battery. Can this go to one of the studs also?

Thanks

Adam

Yup :D hook the black ground wire, and the green to the same stud. This way you have a good connection back to the battery. When I painted my hood, I hooked the grounds for the lights to the same spot. I just scratched the paint off where the connectors for the wire attached to the stud for a good connection :D

Best to check with an ohm meter to see if it wil work.
Or extend the wire to an existing earth(ground).
Use a star washer to cut to the metal.
