Awesome grapple. Wicked 60 right? Good to see the EA is back up and running and producing great implements again.Another shout out to the folks over at Everything Attachments! I ordered my Wicked Root Grapple last Monday, and they somehow got it to me in two days, just before Thanksgiving! I spent all morning on Thanksgiving driving around the property and cleaning up old dead trees!

I see they added a cross drilled pin to the cylinder/lid pivots. I bought my grapple from them in 2021. I was really happy with the attachment (and still am), except for the really goofy lubrication set up at the outboard pivots. I also was not happy with the response when I asked Travis how the stupid design was supposed to work.Another shout out to the folks over at Everything Attachments! I can't find the picture I took of it, so will try to describe it. A short piece of pipe was drilled, tapped, then a zerk fitting installed. This pipe fit (loosely) between the clevis fitting forks on the end of the cylinders, with an o-ring between each end of the pipe and the clevis forks. While greasing, grease just oozes out of the end of the pipe and does not get anywhere near the pressure points.

That's close to the setup I need for my EA grapple. I don't know how they do such a great job except for a few consistently overlooked grease fitting issues.

That looks exactly like my pivots. It is pretty silly looking.

When I reached out to Travis at EA, he wrote something like- The grease will get where it needs to be...or something lame like that. Maybe I will reach out to them and see if the current design is retrofittable to my grapple.
Enjoy your new tool.

You will enjoy your grapple. I have the Wicked 60 as well and something about using it makes a man's testosterone go up a few points! My only complaint with EA was the long lead times but it seems they may have taken care of that issue. Customer service is A+ and you can't beat the quality of their products. Enjoy!!Another shout out to the folks over at Everything Attachments! I ordered my Wicked Root Grapple last Monday, and they somehow got it to me in two days, just before Thanksgiving! I was wondering if it would be possible for you to post a picture or two of the hinge/cylinder pivots that show detail from above and a close up from each end of the pivot bolt/pin.Another shout out to the folks over at Everything Attachments! I welded up a pin on stand for mine that works well. Prior to that I used to put blocks of wood under the grapple to keep it upright. That also worked but connecting to the grapple was tricky since it wouldn't take much to have the grapple topple over.I’m coming back to this thread to ask what is the best way to store a grapple? I have basically been setting my EA Wicked grapple down on a pallet and using a 2x4 as a balance beam along the back end. I knew this wasn’t ideal, and yesterday it fell off the pallet and I spent an hour using my pallet forks and a 2x4 as a lever to get it upright again ((there is no way I can physically move this grapple like I could on the one for my B2601).
I was wondering if I drove some t-posts into the ground and then lowered the grapple down so they came up through the jaws, would that keep it upright? Curious how others store their grapples.

There's some nice designs and ideas for both stands and dollies on this site.I’m coming back to this thread to ask what is the best way to store a grapple?
