Hello,
I've seen a few questions here and there pertaining to fuel additives so I thought I would put this report up here that The Diesel Place site was kind enough to release a while back.

Results are on page 11 if you do not wish to read through the whole report.

Mods - sticky this maybe?

Soy is the #1 additive, best lubricant for the injection pump, and it raises the cetane rating to 48-50. Cetane for regular D2 is usually between 42-46.

B-20 here also meets the same winter time cloud point requirements as regular diesel so gelling is not an issue either.

But I wouldn't buy soy as an additive. B-20 is commercially produced here and is what I use for bothe the tractor and the car. Here in Oregon B-20 is also exempt from state road taxes by law.
