Did they forget these bolts at the factory or is it intended? Kubota L2501

So this is weird, I was doing a once over of the tractor and noticed that the rear fenders have missing bolts? There are clearly holes in the fender and a bracket there for one but looks like nothing was ever attached as the paint has no marks in it where a bolt would have been. If you have a standard L series, is yours bolted?

I'm going to assume they are meant for something else (if so, what exactly?). I'm sure the fenders don't need them. I'm just curious.

Somebody forgot the bolts, that is something the dealer should have done , easy fix.

I looked at the part diagram, there are bolts there. I'll just use bolts I already have in the shop instead of ordering kubota ones haha. Don't think its gonna matter much, I think I have exact stainless ones.

Maybe the assembler at the dealership has a nice collection of extra bolts.

Those were left out to make the removable fenders easier to get off when you need to do a tire rotation.

assembler got in a hurry putting the tractor together

if it's like the old days when I was doing it, good possibility that they couldn't find them. Check the toolbox...see if they in there. Kubota is weird about this stuff. The used to put half the fender bolts in one bag, a third in another, and a couple in a completely separate parts bag.

...and yes, all setup guys have buckets of bolts. Not so much leftover assembly parts, more from the extras they send when doing accessory installs (they send enough hardware to cover several models) as well as the hardware that holds the crates together and the tractor/implement/attachment to the crate. Normal to have at least one bucket full of junk like that. Where I'm at now we still get lots of spare parts during assembly but the deal is with those, they'll leave 10 tuflok's laying on the floorboard and I spend 30 minutes looking for some holes with no tuflok's in them, can't find em, throw em in "the bucket" (I keep it all organized) and the next one that comes in might be missing 9 from different places. In the end it all mostly evens out. I put a roof on a SxS today, 2 piece roof. 7 screws that hold the halves together. So they updated the type of screws used and they are still sending 7 of the old style and 7 of the new style. Adds up quick. I have been throwing them away, no more room to keep them.
