I just bought a 2012 L3240 with the LA514 FEL and 2 year warenty on the tractor and FEL. I looked up the MSRP ($28,000+) and got it for $19,000.00. The dealer told me that he would have to pay for it if it stays on the lot one more month. I thought this was a selling technique. Was this a good deal or is this about what most folks pay for it?

Welcome to OTT, and by the looks of prices on Tractorhouse, you got an excellent deal. It looks like if a person wanted to buy one in the same price range of your new one, you would have to look at one with at least 3 or 4 years on it and some hours.

Seems to be a really good deal on a fantastic tractor. You probably have half the dealers in the country groaning...

Awesome, I didn't do much reserch on this model because i also have a 1973 B7000E gray market tractor that I can't kill. That little tractor is the best! So I am a Kubota lover for sure. So I knew I couldn't go wrong.... I have seen that the FEL I have (LA514) is weak compared to the LA724. I hope it preforms well. I am over seas, deployed at the moment. I get back to the states in Feb,. Can't wait to use it.
