Hey there 2017 bx25d, was running it and noticed the dash (which has some condensation) was no longer displaying anything. Went to shut it off and it wouldn’t. Had to press the solenoid. Now it won’t start or display anything on the dash.
wondering what might be causing it and if there’s something simple I’m overlooking. Thanks

Your issue more than likely has nothing to do with the display.
Check the main fuse.
Check battery connections both ends.

Check that you are getting power into the key switch and then that the key switch is working properly.

If the dash doesn’t work then check the connection for corrosion, clean it and replace connection if needed.

Good find. (y) That's why we like batteries to be solidly anchored.

I once had a car battery go kaBOOM on me for that very reason. Took the top clean off and must have been about straight up. It landed about 10 feet away, but it took a few seconds to land. Acid all over the engine bay and fender (the hood was up).

Glad I had just walked to the back of the car to grab something!
