We have the Daily Chuckle.

Many days something ticks you off just a little......

Makes you Grumble/Complain, etc.🤬

I got stuck in traffic for 30 minutes today in a very rural place.

That made me grumble quite a bit..... 🤬

If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're lying....;)

We need to keep this non-political and appropriate content for OTT.

A common phrase comes to mind ... Don't sweat the small stuff.
Jim - - true. Small stuff that interrupts your day just a little.

I don't sweat it either. Just part of your Daily BS....

The fact that you responded tells me you can relate.

Wife wanted some new trees and a couple new bushes in the field in front of our house where 8 to 16 white tail deer graze every morning and evening. Everything we bought was “deer will not eat”. Deer ate everything. They’re worse than goats. They eat everything. They’re standing in a couple acres of fresh new grass eating a Japanese Magnolia.

We eat deer and they’re kind of pretty, so I guess we can’t complain but so much. Most of our decorating is concrete and steel these days. Maybe we needed a reminder why that is. 🤷‍♂️

I'm with you on that and the other.

Three days ago I was thinking it's been a long time since I had any back/knee pains.
Two days ago woke up with a swollen/painful knee. mostly gone today. Pulled a muscle in my chest lifting a bale of hay today. It's tuning into one of those weeks. Ticks me off I cant get as much done.

We had a similar experience. Wife wanted a row of shrubbery along the west side of our property. The nursery offered us some “Pineapple-Guava” shrubs… which they claimed was Deer “Proof”….and would also produce beautiful blossoms and avocado-sized fruit within two years.

We planted ten of them in a row.

It’s been Twelve Years now….and the deer completely consumed Six of them…and the other four have produced perhaps a dozen blossoms and Zero Fruit….because the deer eat the blossoms.

plant some rosemary around them. Deer don't like the smell.

Try Red Tipped photinia (Photinia fraseri). It has never failed me. It's a fabulous shrub, retains leaves and grows quite fast.

Note: it's considered toxic to horses.

I'll pick an easy one that drives me crazy. I can't talk to a person! It is now so bad they tell you up front that they are an "AI assistant there to same me time". Ten minutes later "it" still cannot understand what I want.

I actually canceled my USAA insurance last month (in part) because of this (in part because they are now a dumpster fire insurance company). I needed to call in an accident my son was in and all it did was send me links to where I could avoid speaking with a person. The final straw was when the AI bot asked me what state the collision occurred in and actually said the following: "For example you can say California or Texas". If your insurance company is catering to folks that need an example of what a state is...it is time to move on.

Finally, "they" determined my son's vehicle was worth $10,000 less than it actually was worth. We ultimately canceled the claim with USAA and went to the at fault party and received $10,000 more than USAA's "fair offer"

Same here. Maybe after we ruin the country by building umpteem new power plants to satisfy the electrical appetite of the data centers the AI will get more "I". Just went through a very painful experience with Brightspeed last week.
