I have a bag of these - about 50 of them - when I teach home wiring and we talk about transformers and how they work, I bring out all of them and the students have a fun time learning about step down and ac-dc converters.

If I didn’t hear from my paternal grandfather, I would have never believed it. He was as straight as it gets.

He saw it in person when delivering milk cans from his route, which included our own milk.

Was early-mid 1940’s.

A Syracuse-area hunter pulled into the local creamery/milk plant with a 300 pound Jersey bull on his hood. Thought he had a great buck…
