As we were driving through El Paso, the I-10 freeway was shutdown for construction. We were diverted to another freeway that is next to the border. We saw a sign said “watch out for unexpected pedestrians”. A nice WOKE term for illegal aliens.

Is that something new? I was always told they didn't. And travelled I-40 Little Rock to Memphis a couple of times '80-'95 on treacherous conditions.
