The first picture, a rather novel modification of a grease gun. I have no ideas as to its function. The cable appears to be a speedometer cable adapted for some unknown purpose.

Second picture is an excellent use of the smaller trailer hitch receiver to be a spare tire holder. I really must give this person credit for spending a lot of money on parts to extend his trailer ball far enough to become usable with the tire in its place.
Cruise control?

Ouch, and of all people to pass, Betty White, on New Years Eve 3 weeks before she reached 100. RIP Funny lady.

Oh that thingamajig pedal depressor picture. When I worked as a mechanic, a midget brought his car in, and it had one for the gas and one for the brake. It was the oddest car I ever drove!!! If I had a cell phone back then It was a definite meme worthy picture.

The M6 Presto-Matic was a Chrysler Corporation semi-automatic transmission produced from 1946–1953. It was a special manual transmission with a fluid coupling. Although it had just two forward gears, an electric overdrive unit was attached and useful in either gear for a total of four forward speeds.
The driver would use the clutch pedal any time when selecting low, high, or reverse gear. Once underway, the accelerator could be eased and the car would engage the overdrive. With the Fluid Drive coupling, the car could be brought to a halt in gear without releasing the clutch and would creep like an automatic.

I had a 1953 Chrysler Imperial with an automatic transmission with a clutch!

A hunter and his friend were sitting in a tall tower stand near Highway 7
early one cold December morning. Suddenly, a huge buck walked out over the
corn they had spread in the low shrubs. The buck was magnificent, a once in
a lifetime animal. His rack was huge.

The hunter's hand shook as his mind was already counting the Boone and
Crockett points. Moving quickly, the hunter carefully aimed the Leopold
scope on his .300 Win Mag at the unsuspecting buck. As he was about to
squeeze the trigger on this deer of a lifetime, his friend alerted him to a
funeral procession passing slowly down Highway 7.

The hunter pulled away from the gunstock, set the rifle down, took off his
hat, bowed his head and then closed his eyes in prayer.

His friend was stunned, "Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing
I have ever seen you do. You actually let that trophy deer go to pay
respects to a passing funeral procession. You are indeed the kindest man I
have ever known, and I feel lucky to call you a friend."

The hunter shrugged. "Yeah, well, we were married for 43 years"

A friend of mine bought a new Tesla a week before Christmas. He told me that the radio is even voice activated. For instance he said Nelson and the radio asked, Willie or Ricky. When he replied Willie it began playing "On the Road Again." He said Ray Charles and it played "Georgia on My Mind.

He tells me that it even can find classical music - he said Beethoven and it started playing the Beethoven Ninth. He said Beatles and got a bunch of their hits.

We had a major thunderstorm yesterday and he was out this morning. Roads were still a bit sketchy and a woman ran a stop sign and nearly hit him. Thankfully he is a good driver and was able to swerve and miss her. Without thinking he shouted "Crazy B>>tch! The radio asked, Pelosi, Warren, Ocasio, Kamala, Hillary?
