d1105 crankshaft

good day all

i have a d1105....1996....my crankshalf broke ....i want to find a another one...looking at option....new/ used. just want to know if there if the crankshalfs are the same or they are different. through the years......also the serial on my block is. D1105 038674. asian i beleive.....can anyone give me info on the please...

If you broke a crankshaft I personally would just replace the entire motor, the chance of it lasting after a rebuild are very, very, low. ;)

The most likely cause of the crank failing is a bad machine job on the mains.

That or perhaps at one point one or more cylinders were filled with liquid, engine cranked, and it obviously wouldn't turn. Usually results in bent rods, but sometimes in cracked crankshaft. They'll run a long time on a cracked crank, but not forever.
