has anyone ever adapted a snowblower from another mfr? Im thinking about a gravely blower from a rider: its shaftdrive, built like a tank, and you can get them for 300.00 with little use. I have a b5100 available for the task....

I don't see why not if you have a welder on hand and are a little bit craft. There are several members on here who've custom built toys for their tractor, numerous cabs and several home made attachments.
