Anyone ever find the common sizes for this transmission? I imagine most if not all seals have a cross reference to a major seal manufacturer.

I need axle seals, transmission input seal, brake seals, one side needs brake work, atleast a lining. I'll do any bearings that look like they need attention. I also need a rear main seal for the engine while the case is split.

Anyone ever have problems with the gears touching each other while in nuetral. The middle fork which I think is 3/4 gear is just touching the forward gear on my tractor. The gear is a bit beat up, but nothing bad. I got to check fork clearances, if a new fork is needed. Or possibly have the fixed portion of that gear a bit far aft. The problem would be completely gone if I relocated the shift fork a bit more than a 1/16th of an inch back.

The past 2 years it would make a gear grinding noise. I only started it every other month or so in nuetral to keep the engine in good shape. I am selling my L3200, so the L175 needs to be functional.

Bearings can be purchased at a local auto parts store and bearing supplier. You just need the part number off the bearing itself along with the manufacturer.

You might be able to match up the seals with some out of the auto parts store. But you would need to mic the shaft diameter, as well as outside diameter and thickness to get a match.

The seal prices aren't bad getting them from Kubota. Bearings, price both ways, through Kubota, and the local bearing supplier. Sometimes the price is pretty similar. Sometimes you save a bunch of money purchasing the bearings through a local bearing supply. But not always, so compare prices. ;)

I purchased bearings for my fan on my l1501 locally. Was around the same price through the dealer, but the local bearing supply had them in stock. Where the dealer was gonna be a week getting them in.
