Equipment
BX2360, FEL, MMM, BX2750D snowblower. 1953 Minneapolis Moline ZAU
One of my favorite auctions near me is a Farm Bureau Consignment and is going on today. Usually have 3,000 lots and 2,000+ bidders. Everything from Amish furniture to beef cattle, large excavators, trucks, tractors and implements.
It was 42 degrees and raining. Place is a mud hole when it's wet.
I never buy anything except a coffee and hot dog, but an auction is a social event for me.
I actually watched on-line. Guess I have learned to get out of the rain and mud...
Prices for newer used equipment and implements struck me as pretty strong. Some with lots of hours. Planting-related implements seemed especially strong, and it is planting season here (we had snow locally this morning).
Bid prices did not include the 10% buyer's premium (12% online), plus 8% NYS Sales tax.
Maybe a product of the supply chain issues we often talk about here.
