Concerned about LX2610 after sitting

My brother has only been able to use his LX2610 for about 30 minutes over the past 16 months and that 30 minutes was on one specific day. It started right up back in November and ran with no issues but we are concerned about the diesel. It is stored indoors where it is 55-65 degrees year round.

I have read posts where people have mentioned untreated diesel going bad in a short period of time. We are not diesel guys so we don't know if bad diesel is something that can be visually seen? Can we shine a light into the tank to check? If so, what exactly are we looking for? Would it be a good idea to pump out the tank and start fresh?

Is there anything else that should be checked after it sitting for so long?

Thanks

Your fine, the likelihood if it going bad is very low under those circumstances.
If your worried about it get a cetane booster and a biocide to treat the fuel.
