@johnjk - when I followed the instructions @xrocketengineer linked, there was an option to check driver updates. Said they were up to date. Did that accomplish it?

I’m going to do some shopping for powered USB strip and a Bluetooth mouse as suggested.

Sounds like those will solve my problems. …..well, computer problems……

RCW, drivers are usually separate from system BIOS updates. I do know for Dell when you put your service tag in their site, it will show you all updates needed for your device. Hopefully their site shows that the BIOS is up to date. A Bluetooth mouse may resolve the issue and a powered usb port should Definitely resolve it. Now if I can just get auto correct to function to my liking….

I think we can call this problem solved!

The USB hub @Dustball linked earlier is working fine!

Just stuck it to the printer it sits on with Gorilla Tape.

It’s even charging my cell phone….

The mouse @Runs With Scissors linked is working fine also. Doesn’t take one of the USB ports anymore on the Bluetooth setting.

It does have a USB antenna if I need to go that way.

As @Sidekick pointed out, some mouse things can be a problem for lefties.

I'm a lefty, but have used a mouse with my right hand since I started using one.

Thankfully not an issue for me but could be for some lefties.

(As an aside, I've never had a left-handed fishing reel or left-handed gun....I learned to use them right-handed)

I also got the better USB cables @D2Cat linked, but haven’t needed to use them yet.
