Got Error code 20 and tractor won’t start (L4060 with 29 hours). The manual just says to contact dealer - closed. Searched the web and got a tip from two members in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia: turn the key to On and leave it there for 2-3 minutes. It took 5 minutes in my case (minus 13 F here in Newmarket, ON) but the code went away and the tractor started. Thanks for the tip guys! Could get on and go plowing!

Glad I have a pre-tier 4 tractor(s). 15 seconds on the pre heat, 1 turn and she's cooking.
Think I'll keep both until I die. No need for pollution controls on this place.

Good info and searching on "kubota error code 20" which is a communication error. Being cold there is probably a connector which is not making a good connection. Leaving the key ON for long period may heat up the bad connection enough to make good enough

Investing in a block heater will be well worth the investment, especially when the temps drop into the single digits. I have block heaters on my tractor and my diesel generator. When I owned a diesel car, it also had a block heater after the blizzard of 1978. Prior to that, the dealers always said that you didn't need one. They were right, but it was so cold, that the fuel would gel, and the engine would stall. With the block heater, the engine was already warm, and the fuel heater would start working immediately. Today, we don't have to worry about fuel gelling, since there are some great fuel additives available at minimum cost.
