I took my drive shaft off the land Pride and broke one of the clutch disk. Do I need to replace one or both?
Land Pride what? Just as a general policy with me, if I break something that is part of a redundant or dual system, I replace everything. To me that would include replacing both clutches, no matter what the equipment is. Just my thought.

"I have the Land Pride 1860" from an earlier post.

It is an RCR1860 from their web site.

It is a light duty Bush Hog style cutter and has an optional slip clutch in the driveline.

The clutch disks are $27 each and I agree with armylifer that replacing both when you have the unit apart makes the most sense.

I'd save the one good disc. Hang it on a nail in the barn. In the future if the same thing happens use the old one. It's just a friction disc. As long as it not cracked or wore down to a sliver, it will do what it needs to do. Be sure to adjust the springs according to how you are using the mower for you HP tractor.
