Well it seems the weather man got it right. They have been calling for rain and storms and high winds for the last week,,, nada ,,, all day yesterday I didnt do anything out side because of this. Well it hit this morning a big old thunder boomer and it did have high wind heavy rain and one hell of a light show. And as I sat on the porch with my coffee, something along the driveway didnt look right,, yep pines down across the driveway. And today they are calling for more rain and such,, but with the grapple and chain saw I think we should be OK. I wonder what other surprises I ll find once I go out, I think my flag pole is no more as well,,, oh what fun

In reality no it has not,, the beatles got in to it last summer and it died super fast and just fell over,,lol

And quite a few towns and properties effected too!

That is almost unbelievable. People's homes floating away and we bellyache over high gas prices and hot weather.

Is the area saturated from previous rains? 2 and 1/2 inches of water over two days doesn't seem like much, but it has to down the canyons.....

Our capitol city (Ottawa) has residents without power for over a week after the big storm on out May long weekend (24th). i think it was something like over 350,000 homes in the province were effected by it.

It's rain on top of deep heavy snow causing a huge run off event.
It's been raining up here for days, all the rivers are real high!
We have been real cool / cold too, 46 right now.

The loss of home and hearth is a bad thing to be sure and takes a very long time to heal,,, However on the bright side,,,,,, all the creeks that have been cleaned out in the past, are going to have new placer gold deposits,,, just sayin
