Important: This only works on DPF-equipped tractors that have the two orange DPF buttons (Parked Regen and DPF Inhibit). If your tractor is not DPF-equipped, this will not work.

Steps to clear stored dash codes:

  1. Turn the key OFF (engine off).
  2. Locate the two orange buttons: DPF Inhibit and Parked Regen.
  3. Press and hold BOTH buttons.
  4. While still holding both buttons, turn the key to ON (do not start).
  5. When the hour meter display changes to diagnostic mode (usually shows “A”), release the buttons.
  6. Press the Parked Regen button to cycle through the modes until you see “b”.
    • “b” = Error Information Clear Mode
  7. With “b” showing, press and hold the Parked Regen button for 2–3 seconds until the display shows “PUSH” (or you hear a beep).
  8. Press and hold the Parked Regen button again for 2–3 seconds until the display shows “OFF”.
  9. Turn the key OFF.
Notes:
  • This clears codes from the instrument cluster display, but some codes may still remain stored in the ECU and can still be read with dealer diagnostic software.
  • In my case, I had codes that kept popping up for almost two years after the original problems were fixed, and this cleared the dash history.

Or better yet get the WSM and find out how to properly clear some codes out of your specific tractor model, as they are not all the same.
Some codes will not clear and require dealer interrvention.
