I just came across this video tonight and realized they were Kubota tractors called Sunshine, I guess for another country.

Man you couldn't pay me anything to do that. These guys are crazy!! Wearing flip flops and all lol.

I noticed the logging trailer is PTO powered which turns the tractor and trailer into 6x6! Man watching these guys were intense...I also noticed they had air brakes!

I don't know, thought it was interesting. Wanted to share.

They would be in a world of hurt if their clutch or brakes went out. Why do you think the drivers were wearing face mask?

Looks like some of the logging roads around here. :ROFLMAO:

The trailer is quite amazing, and makes this all possible.
It has a drive shaft run off the PTO to a transmission under the trailer and also runs an air pump to run the brakes on the trailer.

And our loggers complain about the roads and skid trails we make them haul on. 🙄😮

"Power trailers" were pretty common around here in the 70's, usually made from a pickup frame and rear end. No brakes that I'm aware of tho.

How does the PTO driving the trailer driveshaft sync the the wheel
speeds between the trailer and tractor, guess there must be some kind of transmission setup for reverse.

Yes there is a transmission on the trailer, In the video it's the lever on the right fender that he pushes and pulls.
