In process of building box scraper for BX25 and trying to figure out link lengths. I thought cat1 links were standard length but local supplier has 3 different OAL when in shortest adjustment. My question is there a huge difference in implements that require different lengths of link arms the middle size links are 26" centre to centre.
Trying to do this on the cheap or am I better off to buy the kit from dealer

The lengths can vary between tractor models, just depending on the design of the tractor. Same thing with the angle of the arms, depending on the width of the attachment points. Width of the implement pins and the pin diameter are the main dimension standards of implement categories, and even the width isn't always standard.

I think you would be better off getting stock arms, they are built better than cheaper aftermarket arms.

I don't know what dealer cost is but here is the complete setup on EBay:

The Cat has nothing to do with length of arms, just the width height and pin size.
The length of the arms is determined by the tractor size and the size of tires it has.
Maybe someone with a BX can give you the length of the stock arms, but you really don't need it to build a box blade, the pins on them are set approximately 9" ahead of the side frame, that dimension is not critical.

Thanks so much for the info and the links as well as drawing. Looks like dealer has a sale. After see oem link setup the aftermarket ones look cheesy. Don't think they would last dragging box blade around
