Can anyone tell me if it's safe to pull start a L1500. Mine wouldn't start and I wanted to get it into the shed. I attatched the car and got my wife to tow me. I tried every gear in high range but the back tyers just slide when letting the clutch out every time.
I also took the starter motor of and checked it but dropped the nut down in the engine.
Will it stay put down on the bottom of the engine? I tried getting it out with a magnite to no avail.
Me and tractors don't mix.
