Hi gang. Pretty much a novice overall on all things tractor but I ordered and installed a bxpanded skid plate for my bx2200. It hitches to the MMM hydraulics- and you need to keep them "up" all the time. But my MMM hydraulics and 3pt are all connected. So I can't use any attachments with the the skid plate on? Is there a way to Jeri-rig the plate up so you can still lower the rear? In other words could I wire Up the skid plate (and the MMM hydraulic arms up) so i can move the 3pt up and down?

thanks!

Turn the mower height adjustment knob to the "Top" or highest positions. Do this whenever you are operating without the deck. It will keep the lower arms raised and allow you to raise and lower the 3 PT as needed.

I don't use a MMM but my understanding is that you don't use and or need the skid plate when the MMM is attached. I have the skid plate on full time as I do not use the MMM.

One thing I found about the skid plate. The spacers I got when I bought my plate were little more than cut-offs from some conduit and very flimsy. I went to my local H-D/Lowes and got robust steel spacers of the same OD that were actually the same ID as the bolts. Much better.

It is not possible to have the skid plate and MMM on at the same time. It is one or the other since they both attach at the same points.

Bee-Positive has provided the way to use the three point lift independent from the MMM lift.
