When I hit my heel on the HST to back up in low range the tractor continues to slowly creep backwards after I let off... It had 200 hours on it when I bought it and that happened then and still now at over 300 hours. I did grease the zerk fitting under the floor mat

Is there an adjustment I'm missing?

Check your lineages coming from the foot pedal to your transmission.. one of the linkages could have loosened up or come out of adjustment slightly.. I would check that first and maybe try to adjust them. Or like others have stated check the dampener and maybe even spray the pivot points with some spray grease or wd40 because it could just be sticking a little bit.

I belive the dampener was first introduced with the 60 series

There's a nut on the linkage that has a tendency to loosen/come off. Worth looking at. It's not much fun to get at either.

Might just need a bit of lubrication sprayed in the area. I sprayed some WD40 on the linkage to possibly clean and lube it. When I realized it was working better I sprayed some Fluid Film where the other was sprayed for a longer effect.
