Out blowing an 8” snowfall this morning when I felt the dreaded flat tire “wobble”
Crap. Hobble 300’. BAck to the garage to try to air it up…no go…goes flat immediately. Okay…lower the outriggers lift the back end up and start taking off lug boys/bolts…2 won’t budge so get the torch and apply heat.
That worked. Holy moly the rear tires (loaded) are freakin heavy!
I somehow muscled it into the truck bed and off to my dealer. Asked abut a repair and the parts guy said let’s look at it…no go sidewalls all dry rotted/cracked…ok, his machine has treated me very well for 13 years plus…time for new tires and rims. Baby getting new shoes NOT LOADED this time! $800 + but worth it in my book!
