BX25 replacement instrument gauge

I have a BX25 and had to order a replacement instrument gauge cluster. The original had mechanical Temp and Fuel with LED hours and RPM. upon pick up from dealer was informed can no longer get the original and received an updated replacement. came with an adapter cable and no directions but was able to hook up. The RPM is now mechanical and the rest digital. The RPM gauge does not operate nor the Hours. All others function. I emailed Kubota and the reply was to contact the dealership. I spoke to 3 facilities and no one has an answer. Anyone run into this and what was the solution

What did you attach the mechanical tachometer to?

If it was electrical before was there already something to drive the new one?

There was no instructions that came with the new gauge. It came with an adapter cable. Nothing I see for a mechanical connection

Ok then I am confused... but that’s easy to do

Do you mean it was digital before and displayed numbers and now it is analog and has a pointer that rotates?

What do you mean by “The RPM is now mechanical?
