My BX2680 has the Kubota 3rd function kit for the loader, part #BX2412. The 3rd function diverter valve is on the loader so when I remove the loader for the snowblower it isn't available to use to plumb in hydraulic snowblower chute flapper controls on my 55" BX2822A Blower.

I'm looking to install the BX2821A hydraulic divertor option on to my snowblower but would prefer to just use the joystick controls and wiring already on the tractor from the loader 3rd function (BX2412) rather than running the additional wiring and switch that comes with the chute diverter kit for the snowblower (BX2821A). I'm assuming I should just be able to plug in the electrical connection and it should work (maybe the connector needs to change)?

Does anyone use this setup on their machine. I've seen a couple of Messicks videos this way but not sure exactly how they combined the 2 kits. I'd like to firm this up before I spend the big money on the BX2821A kit.

I am confused. Where is the third function valve? I would not exoect it to be a "diverter" Post a picture of it.

I'm confused, which seems to be getting more and more normal these days.

My line of thinking:
The blower is powered by the mid PTO.
The same lines that raise and lower the FEL would be used to raise and lower the snow blower.
The lines that dump and curl the bucket would be used to pivot the blower chute.

You would just need to be sure that the lines from the blower are long enough to reach the connections on the tractor. No 3rd function is needed, unless the snow blower is NOT powered by the mid PTO.

Hey Guys thanks for reading my long post.

This is to run the chute deflector up and down with a hydraulic cylinder on a BX2822A snowblower (all current BX snowblowers). The kit for this is BX2821A. It has all the parts including the 3rd function diverter valve that mounts on the snowblower housing.

The issue is it is wired differently at the tractor than the BX loader 3rd function diverter that is part number BX2412 ( I already have this on my tractor). I'm wanting to combine the wiring portion of these two kits so I only have one 3rd function diverter switch in the cab / on the hydraulic control stick.
