I have a BX23S and whilst using the backhoe, one of the long control sticks started to flop around. Took it to bits and found that the lever frustrum, if that is the correct part, had snapped in half. The weird thing is, it looks like a shear pin, because there is a very distinct, straight line in the middle of the bolt.
Is this really a shear pin?
I am contemplating disassembly and welding, but obviously do not want to do this, if it is a shear pin.
Does anyone know for sure?
