While doing some work the other day I found it much much harder to get the rear to lock. I know how you have to turn and maybe spin one wheel till it engages, but it wasn't that. It just for some reason would finally lock in after a while.
Now just today attempting to cut the grass, the rear was staying locked. It was difficult to turn. The pedal feels about like normal when it's not locked. It's under warranty but I'm picturing the worst. Tomorrow I'm going to drain some fluid and see if any metal comes out. I hope not!

If it's under warranty I don't believe I'd be doing anything to it until the dealer has the chance to correct any fault....and let him find the fault.

As far as checking the fluid, I sort of figured if it looks OK I could finish mowing the lawn before taking it in. If I see any metal I'd let the grass go. I'm afraid it's not anything easy like linkage since the pedal felt normal. Was just checking to see if anyone else had a similar problem.

I wouldn't run it any more period, there could be a a serious internal issue and running it could make it far worse! ;)
