Hello,
I'm new here, and I tried using the search function for what I am looking for, but couldn't find it. I have a BX2350D, unfortunately, purchased one of those plastic covered machines.

(long version, if TL;DR, please see below)
My tractor suddenly started to lose power and sputter and finally die during operation, at first, I thought it was dirty fuel filters, which has happened before, so I changed them out. Then I found a split fuel line, and thought it might be sucking air, so I changed that out, and yet, it kept doing the same things, so I thought it might be a faulty cutout switch (I have the seat switch bypassed, but I'm not going to say how). I walked away, and came back the next day and it started up like a champ, but after a couple of minutes it did the same thing. After a few repeated experiences and it doing the same thing, I took to the interwebz and found that it is a common experience for there to be gunk in the fuel tank and for it to block the fuel lines. Many of the posts blamed a corroded sending unit, so I took it apart, and found that is definitely the case (the sending unit stopped working about 2 years ago). I took the tank out, cleaned it all out, and will be replacing the sending unit. I will also be replacing the hoses, nipples and filters. I will also be spending some time in changing out the fender from plastic to metal (from what I understand the 2360? fender is a match) and I will be asking about that at some point, but for now, by referencing the drawings, I can't find the part number for the fuel nipples that go from the fuel tank, through some grommets and into the tank. They're all pretty corroded. I Could probably clean them out, but for the effort, I'd rather just replace them. (fuel return, and fuel supply nipples, also the equalizing, which are the same as the return)

(Short version)
So the question is this, does anyone have the part numbers for the fuel line nipples ? (see attach) Also, does anyone have any experience changing the plastic components, like fender and bonnet out on a BX2350, and have any advice?

Thank you in advance

I dont see any part numbers for those nipples. Id assume becase they are just pushed in and may leak theyd rather you just buy a new fuel tank. I have several fuel tanks in my salvage yard i could probably find you some clean ones and send them to you.

For second question yes bx2360 bx2660 bx2370 and bx2670 fenders and hood are metal and will bolt right up to your bx2350. The floorpan is different on the bx2x70 as they moved the brake pedal to the left side. The under or side bonnet are interchangeable between all the 50 60 and 70 models (bx23xx and bx26xx) but are all plastic, no metal version of that.

while you're 'upgrading'..buy and install a 'Mason car cold press coffee filter' unit. It'll fit perfectly into the fuel tank 'neck' and keep 99.44% of 'all things bad' from getting INTO the tank....

I would use WD40 to spray those nipples and gently work them out. As was previously said, they are part of the fuel tank, and most likely will not be serviced individually. While you are working on the tank, you might consider installing one of those large cleanout covers on the top of the tank. (https://fueltankparts.com/collectio...slvXiLh5FVRcLDQGP60xhWlokNrP_cfGEEkIByJjqDcwP) Also, while the tank is out of the tractor install all new fuel injection rubber hoses in place of what came as standard from the factory. Those hoses are quite rugged and resist abrasions.

I see your link, and am definitely interested. They popped out with a small amount prying. I will for sure keep that in mind if I don't find something in the next couple of days, thank you. I'll hit you up here, and there, if it comes to that. Thank you

yep, already have the hose and new clamps. the cleanout is not a bad idea, thanks for the suggestion.

snowmobilers often replace them. Would you consider replacing them with after market?

Kimpex and Wolftech are common manufacturers so if you mic the originals pretty sure they will have replacements.

edit: google 90 degree fuel tank elbow Kimpex Wolftech and you will find tonnes of metric and imperial sizes with and without grommets. Just in case Kubota a kubota dealer can't supply you with OEM assuming of course hole is round and elbow replaceable like on snowmobiles.

Kubota does not sell the nipples and grommets separate from the tank, but the good news is Scag, Exmark. Toro etc mowers all use the same nipples and grommets. Take a nipple and grommet with you as they use a few different sizes.

I added the clean out, Simple to add and I am able to get in there when needed. My sending unit was pretty rusty and I was able to clean it up some though the clean out and also work the float to get the gauge working again. My outlet nipple was basically jammed right full of crap , rest of the tank was very clean. I blew it out and then scrapped it out with picks. The nipple itself I do believe is corroded but hopefully it lasts as I don;t really feel like pulling the tank. I did add a larger blow style filter as well and I have had no fueling issues since.
