BX23 Starting Problem

When i turn the IGNITION KEY to ON , I here a loud clicking sound from the front. Battery power and glow lights work. When i turn to ENGAGE Starter, clicking STOPS but Starter does not work ?? What is It ??

Sounds like the fuel solenoid is working ,one thing I might suggest looking at it the PTO lever, the switch sometimes works it self loose and the machine sees it as you are trying to start with the PTO engaged.

It could also be poor connection at the battery or ground, possibly even a low battery charge or a weak battery. they do get old and "tired".

Check the 'control'wire connection at the starter !! At about 12hrs mine wouldn't start, turned out the 'quick connect' had popped off the solenoid lug !! Others have reported the same thing. My fix was to rework the wire a bit ,then ziptie to prevent it from coming off, that was 350+ hrs ago.....2 1/2 years.
